Accepted Items
- Pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, suits, shorts, shirts
- Coats, jackets, gloves, hats, scarves
- Shoes, boots, heels, sneakers, sandals, socks
- Bras, underwear, slips, camisoles, tights
- Handbags, belts, ties, headbands
- Towels, sheets, comforters, blankets, tablecloths
- Wallets, totes, backpacks, stuffed animals
Unaccepted Items
- Textiles that are wet, moldy, or contaminated with chemicals
- Bio-hazardous waste
- Pillows and cushions
- Mattresses, furniture, or other similar oversized items
What do you do with my clothes?
Whenever possible, we try to reuse all clothing and textiles given to us. If this isn't possible, or if the clothes are better off being recycled, they are turned into shoddy—fibers used for fillings or in lower-grade textile products.
